The name of this page which would normally suggest frequently asked questions should be taken as a jest considering the label has not been around long enough to receive any questions, and it doesn't matter how long it is around because it would not generate enough interest to make such an undertaking necessary. The questions are mostly things that may be asked of a real label and given our answers.
Now who in the hell is Bardesanes and why name a label after him?

Bardesanes was a second century Middle Eastern Gnostic who wrote hymns and books. None of us ever met him. He's just our kind of people.
Is another record label really necessary. Are there not enough?
Another record label is completely unnecessary and unwanted. There are way too many. This label was created to distribute music that we make and enjoy which would otherwise never be released.
Was this label set up to be pretentious and does it have delusions of grandeur?
It is pretentious and no artist can avoid being pretentious, but it does not have delusions of grandeur. It is really more indicative of Masochistic (Self-defeating) Personality Disorder. It shows what you know.
Why is the website so basic and unappealing?
The website will grow as the label does. This site will work for the time being. If you have any suggestions to make the site better, we would be happy to hear them.
Can I send you music?
Absolutely. Being bored with all music that is coming out today, we would be happy to hear anything you have to send. However, do not send files as attachments. Allow us to make this more clear: Never send us files as attachments! They're just too big for our mail server. However, you are free to send us links. If you want to send us CD's, cassettes, vinyls, VHS tapes, DVD's, underpants, or other things we might enjoy, send an e-mail first and we give you an address.
We are not, however, looking to release music by other artists yet. We cannot even manage what we have yet. Just send us music that you think we might like. We're not looking for any kind of commitment or to take things too quickly. What kind of girl do you think we are?
What's with all this "we" stuff? Isn't there only one of you?
There is only one of us but we wanted Ayn Rand to spin in her grave even though we like her. We are vindictive people.
